Yesterday was an interesting day. In springtime in Mongolia the weather is a bit unpredictable at times (actually, it is predictable, the prediction being changeable). Woke up in the morning to crystal clear blue skies, sunshine, cool air and contrails from the 747s overflying Mongolia. Heading into the office the temperature was a pleasant 8 degrees Celsius.
Went out at lunchtime into the teeth of a dust storm (sand storm would be the equivalent in the Middle East). The wind was roaring (things were being blown off buildings and such) and it was pretty much impossible to walk into the wind with eyes open.
Got back to the office and the dust storm had been replaced by snow. A hour after that, scattered clouds, clear clean air, sunshine and a balmy 8 degrees again.
Nothing is boring around here as nothing stands still long enough to get boring.
